The Southport Congregational Preschool and Toddler Program, established in 1983, is a nonsectarian program operated under the auspices of the Board of Christian Education at Southport Congregational Church.

IMG_0252We believe a child’s first “school” experience should be a positive one. We strive to provide a safe, constructive and loving environment so that your child will enjoy coming to school each day.

Registration takes place in the fall for the upcoming program year. The program year begins in September and continues through May. An application form must be completed for each child and must be accompanied by a $1,000 nonrefundable deposit.  Our hours are 9:00am – 12:30pm for all age groups.  If there is enough interest and enrollment, an Extended Day Program until 1:55pm will offered on  Mondays and Wednesdays for four year olds only.

The program does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, or religion. Admission to the program is based on a prioritized lottery system. Points are assigned to each family for each year that they have participated in the program for each child enrolled. Once enrolled, a child and his/her siblings will be given priority over children who are new registrants. Participants in the program are notified of their points prior to registration. Once enrolled in the program, the tuition becomes nonrefundable.
